Kantorei is thrilled to announce that it has earned $6,500 in grant funding from Colorado Creative Industries (CCI)! Funding was made available through the Colorado Creates program.
Colorado Creates is CCI’s largest grant program, providing critical financial support that helps nonprofit cultural organizations and government agencies produce and present arts and cultural activities.
Kantorei is thrilled to be a part of Colorado’s thriving arts community. According to CCI, “The state is experiencing healthy growth in the creative economy, due in large part to combined state, local and regional efforts to advance support for artists, non-profit arts organizations, and creative place making efforts,” said Margaret Hunt, Director of CCI.
“We applaud the talented and hard-working groups that contribute to our state’s vibrant economy and, just as importantly, to our amazing quality of life. We are glad to support their work with the Colorado Creates grants each year.”
About CCI and Grant Opportunities
CCI promotes, supports and expands the creative industries to drive Colorado’s economy, grow jobs and enhance our quality of life.
CCI believes that creativity, imagination and innovation are critical for economic growth, community vitality, and educational success. We understand that, given the scale of Colorado’s creative assets, the nonprofit and commercial creative sectors combined can make the best case for the creative industry’s impact on the economy. Our programs and partnerships are dedicated to delivering high quality arts programming with a commitment to inclusion, access, and equity.
Kantorei expresses its gratitude to our elected officials who support the arts and CCI, including U.S. Senators Michael Bennet and Cory Gardner, Congresswoman Diana Degette, State Senator Daniel Kagan, and Representative Jeff Bridges.
