It’s the season of giving, and this year Kantorei is thrilled to partner with Clothes to Kids by collecting donations at our holiday concerts. Clothes To Kids of Denver provides free school clothing to preschool-12th grade students from low-income or in-crisis families in a warm, welcoming store-like setting. Their hope is that when students have the clothing they need to feel comfortable and confident in the classroom, they will better be able to focus on their studies and fit in with their peers. Without Clothes To Kids, thousands of Denver students would go without school clothing and basics each year.
How can you help?
It’s easy! Help Kantorei support Clothes to Kids’ socks-and-underwear drive by bringing donations of new boys and girls socks or underwear, sizes 4T and up, and drop them off at our holiday concerts. Our volunteers will collect all donations and deliver them to Clothes to Kids. Donated items should be new, and school-appropriate.
Clothes To Kids provides 5 new pairs of underwear and 5 new pairs of socks to every student who visits their shop. In 2016, Clothes To Kids distributed almost 79,000 free pairs of new underwear and new socks nearly 8,000 students in need. Please help Kantorei give back to the community by bringing your donations with you to our concerts!
